HOW TO REMOVE STUBBORN WHITEHEADS AND BLACKHEADS?

Good afternoon everyone. Ika here. And this the longest blogpost I think haha >_<.   If those little white spots, that you commonly call ‘whiteheads’ are bothering you?  Are you looking  for some solution? Continue reading this post. :P. Actually, whiteheads are caused when sebum is not properly done away  and the oil hidden in the pores of your skin. Blackheads, on the other hand, are open hair follicles filled with lots of dead skin cells and sebum that have developed because of oxidation. Whiteheads are very common in people who have oily skin. They most commonly found on cheeks, nose and foreheads.

There are various ways by which you can get rid of whiteheads and blackheads. What you just need to opt for the one that suits you the best! They are easy to remove and can be prevented at home. Today I’m going to teach you 11 steps that you can do by yourself every week that will 95% solve your whiteheads and blackheads problem.  These steps are the best way that I can think for myself and maybe for you also.

We start off with Innisfree Volcanic Steam Towel. Steaming your face beforehand will open up your pores so it easier for the dirt and oil to leave your skin. You need to moisten the steam towel with hot  water, or heat it up in the microwave and place it on your face for 3 to 5 minutes to open up your pores.  This step is important so your whiteheads and blackheads can be removed easily. The mask is slit perfectly to fit in my face, and it too cute hahha!!!

Innisfree Blackhead Dual Cleaner brush is so soft, so we don't need to be worried it will be too harsh for our skin . Brush gently around 3 minute on any area you think you have whiteheads/ blackheads. In my case that would be my nose and my cheek.  It doesn't removed all my whiteheads/ blackheads. Maybe around 5- 10%. This supposedly banishes them by loosening them up.  Then, clean up the area.

Sebum softener helps to loosen up the oil bump and remove excess oil so that it will be easy for the mask to stick. Be careful not to press the bottle too hard or you'll end up wasting and spilling the solution all over your face. Apply some sebum softener on the areas you wish to focus on (nose and cheek) and massage for 2-3 minutes. Don’t forget to rinse off with lukewarm water because  the sebum is slightly oily and it prevent the mask from sticking on the blackheads.

Step 4. Dry your face well then apply apply a thick layer of mask on your preferable areas that is rich with stubborn blackheads. By the way The blackheads remover  smells heavily of coffee and I love it! Ergggg make sure the mask you applied is thick enough or else it will be pointless applying it. Not to thick, you are going to waste it. Just make sure the mask cover all your pore. Basically, the thickest it is, the longer time it will take to dry.

Psssssttt this is very important  tips if you want your whiteheads & blackhead removed well. Step 5 , place a strip of facial tissue or tissue paper over the wet mask, being sure to press it onto your face gently. Want to know why?

In Step 6. I’m using B.Liv deep impact cleanser to clean up the unsuccessfully peeled off mask . Actually you can use any cleanser that you regularly use. You can skip this step if you want and jump to step 7.

In Step 7,  I'm using Klairs Gentle Black Sugar Face scrub to remove the remaining blackheads and as a exfoliation. This is the top 3 in my favourite face scrub. Any your favourite Scrub may do.

When you have open pore. It good way to apply any mask. Your skin can absorbs the benefits from the mask easily. At this stage I recommend any premium mask that have  lot of benefit or vitamin.  Currently I'm using B.Liv Mask Addiction. The sensation of using a facial mask can be quite soothing and calming (a good therapy ) and  providing mental relaxation as much as skin rejuvenation. Walaa.

This step 9 is to treat our pore. The Shrink Toner  is used to refine pores, restore skin fairness and keep the skin healthy. It contains Arabi coffee extract, peppermint lift extract, witch hazel extract, kiwi extract and vitamin B3. However, I don't think the tightening effect work because I don't see any difference on my pores after using it. Then I will use extra treatment in step 10 to solve my problem.

In step 10. After sebum toner I’m going to use B.liv off with heads serum. I need 2-3 pea sized drops and applied it on my T-zone & cheek since those are where I have black and whiteheads the most.  B.liv off with heads serum can reduce my remaining blackheads and help shrink my pore. More over it  can be use daily twice a day .

Now we are at the last step for whiteheads and blackheads treatment by Ika haha. I’m using B.liv  shrink and tighten to end this treatment.  As it works to make pores appear smaller, and give a tightening effect on my  skin. Moreover this product can be use daily. The end :P.

So what do you think? This treatment work well for me. You may skip any step you think not necessary J  You also can  save a lot of money at the same time you can see the result at the end of the day. It  take me around 2 hours 15 minute to complete all this step. Whiteheads and blackheads actually  a common problem but with regularly treatment may help. Mix and match product or brand for me is ok because each of them have difference purpose and benefits. So what do you think?Till then, enjoy your weekend.
